I bought a Shield 9mm to carry, but it has had enough "issues" that I now carry my M&P 40c instead. Even if my Shield becomes perfectly reliable, it will become, at best, a BUG. For me, ten .40s are better than eight 9s.

I carry a M19 or a M59. The M19 is my usual gun but if I'm going some place with my Son I carry my 9mm because that's what he carries. I've shot several people with a .357 and it's never failed me.

J frame for well over 40 yrs. but sometimes an M&P .380 when deep concealment is needed.

Carry Gun varies Most Often it's a Ruger LCP .380 in a Pocket Holster no matter what clothing I wear it can be carried,Other Guns sometimes carried (All IWB) S&W Model 60-7,S&W 3913,HK USP 9 DAO,Rarely A Stainless Colt Officers ACP.

Smith M36, 2 1/2" M19, Smith 6946, 5" Stainless E Series, Ruger LCP. I have a rotation that I do. It largely depends on the clothing of the day.

I mostly carry my M&P45 but did carry my wife's P320 in 9mm today and I liked it so much I think my next gun will be a P320 in 357 Sig

Times change, tastes change and seasons change, what are you carrying these days?
I have a 3 gun rotation, my 380 LCP, .38 Smith Chiefs Special and my .40 Glock 27. Those three don't change but they change according to weather.
So what's your carry?

Substitute a Bodyguard 380 for the LCP and a .40 Glock 23 for the 27, and we have the same carry guns.

38 spl, love my S&W 442 in an ankle holster...have others but find this the most convenient, comfortable and easiest to conceal. If I am wearing cargo shorts I switch to a pocket carry holster.

I've carried my Model 36 (no-dash) as an EDC for 31 years but sometimes, when formally dressed, I carry a little .32.......and that caliber is not on the list either......more important that you are trained with the you gun carry rather than its caliber........Some close friends just carry a NAA .22
Just saying............

Most of the time I pocket carry this 638. I've painted the sights since this picture was taken: the front sight is blaze red and the rear matte black. When I'm out in the desert I carry this Ruger Security Six in the El Paso Saddelry Tom Threepersons cross draw holster.
