Sweet! Let us know what your long term experience is with the Trijicon. I'd like to put one I to use this summer.![]()
Looks like a nice job on the install and a cool project. Isn't it sort of bulky for concealed carry though? Or do you open carry it?
Do you carry it with the extended barrel or do you have a regular barrel for carry? If you do use the extended barrel how does it affect concealment and comfort? No particular reason other that I can run suppressed
if I want.

Was the slide custom milled for the RMR to set it as low as possible? It looks high. Are your iron sights now blocked?
I carry a FS M&P w/RMR and an extended barrel, AIWB. No problem with a good holster.
absolutely friggin cool. I have had mine for about 6 months and I am in love with it. It has a super solid chamber. I held it next to a glock 22 and the width was the same. Its thickness was more because of 9 instead of 40 and it doesn't even blink at my plus P reloads. Now I see that I can get a sight on it? The wifey is gonna punch me in the face when she sees the bill for that. I am thinking of getting a 40c as well in the next week.
Ok The big question.... The cost of all the mods?
Trijcon RM07 = $560
ATEI Mods:
Trijicon RMR Slide Milling for M&P = $160
Mill New Dove Tail for Suppressor Sight-Behind RMR for M&P only = $50
AmeriGlo Tritium Night Suppressor Height Sights for M&P Installed = $110
Side Front Serration = $135
Slide Re-finished in Black Nitride (Melonite / Tennifer) = $90
Equals lots of $$$$, you do the math
SIG and Glock are coming out with a line of pistols that are RMR ready. Would be nice if S&W would do more than just the CORE.
