Sweet! Let us know what your long term experience is with the Trijicon. I'd like to put one I to use this summer. :)

Bob I can tell you what mine was. Sent it back to Amazon the first month i had it and ordered a Deltapoint. It would shut off while shooting and if I racked the slide it would come back on for a few more shots. Checked out the battery seating several times but that was it. I liked the sight and probably just got a bad one. Amazon put the money back in my account the same day they shipped me a box to return it and I ordered the Deltapoint the same day from them. Nothing wrong with Trijicon I just got the bad one I guess. Don

Thanks Don......I've read reports similar to yours. I had an ACOG reflex sight on an AR15 years ago and loved it.......I just don't want to drop this kind of cash on a RMR if its not the same quality and experience.

Looks like a nice job on the install and a cool project. Isn't it sort of bulky for concealed carry though? Or do you open carry it?

In most cases, optics add no noticable weight or "bulk" when carrying.

No particular reason other that I can run suppressed
if I want.

Do you carry it with the extended barrel or do you have a regular barrel for carry? If you do use the extended barrel how does it affect concealment and comfort?

Looks nice and ATEi definitely does good work. Any plans for suppressor sights to use if/when your RMR dies?

Was the slide custom milled for the RMR to set it as low as possible? It looks high. Are your iron sights now blocked?

I carry a FS M&P w/RMR and an extended barrel, AIWB. No problem with a good holster.

absolutely friggin cool. I have had mine for about 6 months and I am in love with it. It has a super solid chamber. I held it next to a glock 22 and the width was the same. Its thickness was more because of 9 instead of 40 and it doesn't even blink at my plus P reloads. Now I see that I can get a sight on it? The wifey is gonna punch me in the face when she sees the bill for that. I am thinking of getting a 40c as well in the next week.

ATEI milled the slide for the RMR. ATEI also installed AmeriGlo Tritium Night Suppressor height sights as well.

Also had from slide serrations added.

Went to the range last weekend to test the set-up and the RMR and sights were spot on at 16 feet using Federal HST 147 +P.

What surprised me was I only sent the slide to ATEI. I figured I was going to need to do some adjustments to the sights and the RMR. Nope. Spot on.

Gonna be worth the black eye from your wife!! LOL

Ok The big question.... The cost of all the mods?

Trijcon RM07 = $560
ATEI Mods:
Trijicon RMR Slide Milling for M&P = $160
Mill New Dove Tail for Suppressor Sight-Behind RMR for M&P only = $50
AmeriGlo Tritium Night Suppressor Height Sights for M&P Installed = $110
Side Front Serration = $135
Slide Re-finished in Black Nitride (Melonite / Tennifer) = $90

Equals lots of $$$$, you do the math

SIG and Glock are coming out with a line of pistols that are RMR ready. Would be nice if S&W would do more than just the CORE.

Thanks, as long as you like it is what matters!

MKE--could you post a rear view photo of the suppressor sights cowitnessing through the RMR? I have the same set up on my FS with a bottom of screen co-witness through the RMR. Is your's the same?
