After 2yrs of selling my 1st M&P 15-22 and regretting it. This past weekend I picked the new 15-22 sport.
No less than 30mins having it in my house I took off the stock and pistol grips with Magpul CTR and MOE.
Went to the range and I immediately forgot how heavy the trigger was. The CMC 3.5# is going in this weekend.
Needless to say I like this new version. This platform was my trainer into getting into a real AR-15 in which i've built 7 and people come to me know for custom builds.
This time i'll leave this model as str8 22LR rifle and not put the barrel through hell like I did with the 1st gen and the slide fire stock.
My only regret is getting rid of all my mags and bullets. Oh well back to the ammo thread I go!
