Still waiting also it was supposed to ship in March now after a 3 month wait they are saying April? Where did you get the April date? Don
They answered my email about a month ago and said they were in full production and were shipping,
but they would not provide numbers?
I'm sorry but something stinks about this entire product.
Each time Midway gets them in stock, they're instantly sold out.
Who gets them? Nobody I know has even heard of Labradar.
How many have they sold in the two years they've been available?
Why hasn't another manufacturer put a similar competing product on the market?
Either this is vaporware or the manufacturer is making them only a few at a time, and as a side product.
That usually means that spare parts and warranty repairs will be non-existent. Buy one and you're on your own. Or if you send it back for repairs, it will take 6-8 months to get it back.
.
Wow so many assumptions
FYI, I got mine 11/2015, SN 0175.. . . I know of at least 15 individuals or labs who have received one several of which have received 2
My SN is 1492
"nobody you know"- makes it sound like if it not know in your circle it must not exist? . . .
And for clarification in Nemo288 comments he means the second batch this year.
FYI, I got mine 11/2015, SN 0175.
Glad you clarified the number of batches, because my unit was in the 2nd or 3rd group released in 2015.
As for JBnTx . . . I'm always amazed when someone feels they're the only one who expresses their opinion - especially the only one on the entire planet lol. Too often that's an excuse to explain why they are the only person on the planet who holds that particular view.
The folks surrounding LabRadar my fail, though I doubt it. The product is too hot and RADAR is here to stay. Someone would pick it up.
I was emailed a week or 2 ago asking me to verify or change my card info.
They said they were going thru all the orders as it was so long many had gotten new cards issued.
(Mine was)
I talked to them on the phone and am promised one "2nd week in April" which I guess is now.
Nice to hear they are now rolling out.
Yes , one other setting which is a lower power to meet regs in other countries. Is there a setting other than "standard power" which will track projectiles further out than is stated above?
Mike
Agree on the gaudy orange and mega-point type for the logos lol.. . . I could have done without all the "steal me!" labels all over everything for the same reason I don't have a "Protected by Smith & Wesson" sticker on my truck. (Or any other stickers for that matter). But what-ya-gonna-do?
I still think this company has the craziest marketing scheme I ever saw but I wish them well.
Maybe one day they will have these on the shelf and ship the next day.
I get the idea from talking to the man (way after hours) that this place is like early Silicon Valley outfits and being run out of a garage.
My Mom went to Palo Alto High with Dave Packard and witnessed that scene.
I am interested in calculating the BC of several 44 bullets at velocities the factory may never have tested.I'm still trying to figure out what value that data has anyhow.
Sorry. Guess I was focused pretty much on rifles where BC out to 100 yds isn't terribly relevant. Never considered that velocity at ~100 yds might be of interest to anyone.I am interested in calculating the BC of several 44 bullets at velocities the factory may never have tested. Velocity curves out to or past 100 yards will be valuable in this pursuit.. . .
