Added a pre Model 28 4 screw Highway Patrolman to my collection today and thought I would show it off a bit. Purchased it from forum member AZMick so it was a local buy which makes it especially sweet.
Shows a bit of honest holster wear but the overall condition is amazing for a S serial numbered revolver built in 1957. The stocks are original and numbered to the gun, fitup is tight and the bore is flawless.
Glad to add it to my collection of shooters, a big Thank You to AZMick!

When Barbara passed away, I went a little nuts,,, OK, more than a little.
I understand. Deb and I are pushing 46 years. I cannot imagine losing her. Had a scare last year when she was diagnosed with cancer, but they caught it early and after surgery pronounced her cancer free. I thank God every day.
Blessings on you, my friend.

Nice 4" pre HP congrats.

My misses had three bouts with breast cancer. The first time was a double mascomy. Figured it was done with. They missed some. She's still hear a decade plus later. I never prayed so much in my life. She bounced back three times. Then it was my turn with prostate cancer. This cancer hit me hard took muscle. Almost time to hit the weights.

Like Grandpa schanbel says to Parker never ever give up.

Just an FYI as Sparky didn't mention it, that HP is a 4 screw frame, and not model marked. There was a pretty slim time span when they were put out and it is a tough version to find in about any model.

Morning Mick, Thanks for setting that straight for me. Just gets better and better...
Got it taken apart this AM for a full house cleaning, oil and inspection. Stoned & polished up the rebound block and mating surfaces of the action. Great results, smooth & steady. Try to get to the range and run some fire thru it later this week, can hardly wait.
