NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS 2016

Game time in San Jose!! :D

The Sharks need to play the same way they did in game 3. Good forechecking, passing and goal tending. Also gotta keep Crosby in check (pun intended) :)

While Mrs. Biker is hoping for a short final series, I'm looking for the Sharks in 6 or 7. Besides, I'm told that absence makes the heart grow fonder! :D

Let's go SHARKS!

That was a good press at the end. It's been a good series so far.

That press at the end lasted approximately 29 minutes of playing time. The Sharks dominated the play against the boards. Any feelings of letting game 3 slip away are now replaced by feelings of stealing game 4.

If the Pens hold on, and especially if they win the next one,it will be an interesting Conn Smythe choice. My pick would be Murray, but there's 3 or 4 others to consider as well.

Lotsa work to be done first, though....

Allow me to add...
Being from the East Coast, and not wanting to stay up late for the Pacific games, I know that Brent Burns is a good player, but don't get to see him often.

I will amend the word "good" with "absolute animal." I'm not sure he ever left the ice last night, and for what I think was the 59:33 he played, he was the best player out there, hands down. If there was a Finals MVP, that would be my pick, no doubt. He's a force.

2 down, 2 to go. :D (but if they're consistent with the past, They'll win the next one and then lose the next 3 and then win a game 7 OT) I'm starting to wonder if it's all rigged to get the maximum TV money:rolleyes:

I'm still skeptical, on one hand I'd be happy if the Pens finish it off next game, but wouldn't be surprised if the Sharks win the next 2 so it comes down to a game 7 (TV money thing again). If that happens I'll be more convinced that it's rigged so that the wins and losses are planned for maximum drama (but still rigged) and then game 7 is real. Must be getting to be a "codger". I heard last night that the last Pittsburgh team to win a championship at home was in the '40s. That includes all sports. Kind of an amazing factoid.

Actually, I believe Mazeroski's Game 7 homer in 1960 was in Pittsburgh.
