At this stage of my life it seems I am wearing Athletic (Nike) shorts and shirts most of the day. I carry a j frame in a bag pouch (uncle mike 88891) :

Is there any other way's you all carry when your dressed like this?
Also, do you carry when you work out at a gym?

I carry my .45 S&W pistol, and lots of other things in my Bianchi nylon fanny pack with secret holster. Unfortunately they no longer make these, so I take very good care of it. It is made of ballistic nylon, has a strong wide strap, and two zippered waterproof compartments. I use it year around.

I carry my LCP in my front pocket with an Uncle Mikes clip holster and my shirt covers it very well. Jeans or shorts and it doesn't make me feel that I need suspenders! ;)

IMHO, find something comfortable that is more ... appropriate. I know, I know, I'm projecting, but I came to this realization a few years ago (I am a former gym junkie) when I kept trying to find workout clothes with pockets. Ultimately (since that was harder and harder to find), I realized that, unless I'm competing, who cares what I wear to the gym, or anywhere else, as long as I am comfortable. So, a good pair of cargo shorts with "elastic" waistband and a polo are my daily attire and just as comfortable as a pair of Nike "wonder fabric" short and shirt. YMMV

With that in mind, other options to carry as you inquired would be the compression shirts/shorts from 5.11 or Undertech, and/or a SmartCarry.

I live in Florida and wear shorts and T-shirt or a polo shirt nearly every day.
I find that pocket carrying a small auto suits this attire best. My Kahr P380 in a DeSantis pocket holster in the front pocket of my cargo shorts practically disappears and is very comfortable.

I carry my Shield every morning IWB in athletic shorts walking the dogs using an N82 Tactical Professional holster. Tie up the draw string in the shorts good and snug, clip gun/holster inside the waistband, and go walk. Never had anyone at the walking track notice best I can tell and it's very comfortable. Stays in place well also. I find the pockets in athletic shorts to be way too floppy for pocket carry.

Outside of walking the dogs, cargo shorts are my go to the rest of the time.

I carry my Bodyguard 380 in my jeans in the right front pocket without a holster. I hit the po cket with a lint brush before insertion. I clean the weapon every week even if not fired. Wranglers conceal better that the Lee's.

The only time I carry my LCP anymore is when I'm running. I have the clip that mounts on the side of the gun. Tucked Into my elastic shorts IWB. Stays put. Subject to a lot of sweat here in AZ so requires some maintenance keep up

If wearing gym shorts or something similar that has an elastic waistband, I carry a Bodyguard 380 in an Uncle Mike's #4 pocket holster. It's lightweight and I hardly know it's there. If wearing something requiring a belt, I have my .40 Shield in a DeSantis scabbard under a button up shirt.

My Galco Stow and go clip si perfect and secure on board shorts or gym shorts and the 442 comes right out.

Carry a real gun in a real holster with real shorts. Concealed means "obscured from view" so concealed carry means your sidearm is obscured from view. It does not mean your gun is completely undetectable. It does not mean there are no lumps under your shirt. It does not mean that nobody will 'think' you're carrying.

Once you get beyond your fear of being 'found out' you will find that carrying concealed is pretty easy, the season notwithstanding.
