Red dot for my new 686-6 Competitor?

I thought I'd put a red dot on my Competitor, only to find out it doesn't fit the rail! I tried using the same Red dot that's on my 44 Magnum Hunter. The rails are spaced differently. What are you guys using? Thanks!

I have a vortex sparc II mounted on an American Defense quick release. I had the same issue so I took the cross bolt out of the mounts and filed it down until l it was thin enough. Works great!
