Ill try but I dont know them all. Top row, Imperial iron cross 2nd class w/ spange for winning another in WW 2, Russian Front medal (ww 2), imperial Bavarian Knights cross w/ swords for combatant--i dont know its actual name, I forget what German state the 4th is from?, Hindenburg Cross w/ swords--its just a cheap medal passed out to anyone who served in Ww 1, Freikorps Sileasian Eagle 2nd class, unkn, two Army/Wehrmachr long service awards--not sure how many years-probably over 30,

Bottom: the first two are NSDAP long service awards-not sure how many years?, Blood Order medal--for those who were in on hitler's putsch, Entry into Czecholslovakia w/ Prague Defence Bar, Memel medal, the last 4 are all imperial and ive forgotten for what? but alll w/ crossed swords meaning this guy saw loads of combat.

Yes, that's a nice one. When my daughter graduated from Army boot camp (she went through at the beautiful but now closes down Ft. McClellan in Aniston Alabama...the land of KUDZU) the Sargent of the Army attended the ceremony. There wasn't enough of his blouse showing to tell what color it was. I'm surprised he didn't have a couple of guys with him to keep him from falling over from the weight of all the medals and ribbons.

I managed to get close enough to shake his hand and exchange a word. He was one awesome cat and I was humbled to be in his presence.

Not that im trying a comparsion but, thats the way Russian and kims north korean guys look.

On ribbon bars, I have around 30 or so German ribbon bars dating as early as 1870--which is one that actually belonged to the Kaiser, a few others belonged to high-rnking officers and one that belonged to the Grand Duke of Mecklinburg-Schwerin: Franz Friedrich von Grossherzog IV.

These are my dad's. He was in the Navy from 43-45 and assigned to three ships; two LCI's and one AGC.

My research back in 2013 was sent to the Navy Department and they awarded him the Combat Action Ribbon. I still need to purchase his Japan Occupation Ribbon and get it mounted as well.

Dad was a 20 year enlisted Marine. He retired as a Master
Gunnery Sargent. Didn't get to see him in dress uniform
but maybe two times and one was a picture.
If i recall tho' he had a few rows of bars. My youngest
brother who also joined the corp has them now.
Very interesting and cool to see what campaigns some
of these guys were in.
I'll try and dig out my WWII soviet medal for some pix.
