Well, then change them back!
It is most important that your revolver fits your hand-grip.
If not, you will be unhappy every time you pick up this revolver.
So,,,go try them out and let us know.

With the price that cokes have gotten to, I'd be hesitant to shoot the gun with them on there anyway. They've reach the point of a display item more than a user item.

Very good advice

Fortunately, just like the 1955 pre-27, the grips have enough honest wear that a cylinder or two of ammo sent down range every so often should not change their condition. ;)

One of the nice things about cokes is that there are plenty of folks ready to take them off your hands if you don't like them. Mrchuck had good advice.

I've probably posted this two or three times already, but I have a very clean 4" 29-2 (blued) which I think looks best with the best grips ever made for it - Pachmayr SN-S Presentation grips. Some people with hands different from mine would be correct to dispute my description, but it works for me.

I'm not just being a contrarian, but I really do prefer the "look" of the service magnas...on the 3.5 inch barrel N frames. And of course that's without the grip adaptor. If 4 inches or larger, then the cokes and targets get my vote.

At the very least, they look better than that grip adapter. From purely an aesthetic view, I don't care for target stocks on the skinny or short barreled revolvers, like a model 27 or 28. On the larger diameter barrels, like a model 25 or 26, they look great, IMO. From a shooting standpoint, I think they're great. At any rate, those are really nice stocks.
