Eight shots (8)? Or Six shots (6)?

I am sorry to hear that you reserve your sixth shot for suicide. I can not imagine thinking like that.Eight shots (8)? Or Six shots (6)?
Really what's the diff? Are they worth paying the extra dollars for the 8 shot over the 6? Your not going to ccw it? To me honestly a six shot revolver is only five shots if I miss my target with five shots the sixth round is for me.
Is it the rarity of this right shot revolver to collectors?
Congrats and welcome to the forum. Even though this thread was started over 3 years ago and previous post was over 2 years ago, I still enjoy it due to me having #24 of the 4" -7 version.I've got a 27-7 4in #BAG0048 and love it.

There's a 4" 27-7 on GB that relisted last PM due to reserve not met. The ending bid was at $2500. Who knows what it'll take to buy it?
Hey tnb, in your pic, are those the original grips that came with your -7?

I passed up a 4-inch one on gunbroker today that went for $1695 and am kicking myself. I hesitated because it was without the case and the rear sight blade had been changed to night sights. I think I missed a good deal. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/648556844
At least you wouldn't feel bad about shooting that one. I still haven't fired mine. It's just too nice to turn into a "range gun".. (-:}
As you prolly know, there's another 4" -7 on GB that's been re-listed several times with reserve not met yet. No telling what it'll take to buy it?
I'm watching it for some time now just to see what mine might be worth as it's similar with shipping box, PC case, docs, etc...
I've seen bids as high as $2500 with reserve not being met. Lotsa $$$ but they don't come up for sale very often.
I've been watching that one as well and also saw it approach 3 grand. They originally listed it without the case and I asked about it, and they said they would look for it and send it later if I was the winner. They apparently found it since then.
