All of the (scripted and rehearsed) reality shows. All so obviously fake. All so uninteresting. Some of the worst were shows like Survivor and the great race that took a group of type A personalities that you wouldn't want to be in the same room with, Put them at their worst in stupid and stressful situation, and watch the results.

And lets not forget Jerry Springer and The View.

I think it would easier to list the ones I like or liked. 90% of TV shows now are pitiful but they took Last Man Standing with super high ratings off the schedule. I watch mostly channels that show old time programs and flip right on past the reality life shows. There is not a single talk show I can stand due to all the political garbage they promote now.

Sorry I have to disagree on this one. Married with Children was great. I used to look forward to Sunday evenings on Fox. Married with Children, The Simpsons, and In Living Color, great line up.

Think I got all of these beat. How about "Its About Time" with Imogene Cocoa. Did not last long. Worst comedy show ever in my book. Show was about 2 astronauts that go back in time to the cave man days.

"My 600 lb. Life" Why would anyone watch that. It can get pretty gross.

Just about everything new on TV now is garbage. I mainly watch old shows on the digital channels. Some nominees for worst show from TV days gone by:

"Maude" - two seconds of the opening credits makes me want to throw my TV out the window.

Fox in the early days had lots of clunkers: "Mr. President", "Werewolf", "Dirty Dozen:The Series", and hundreds more train wrecks.

The "Dark Shadows" series on NBC in '90 or '91. "Fish Police" and "Cop Rock". Never cared for "Twin Peaks" either.

Look at Gilligan's Island. Everybody knew it was awful but they kept coming back for three reasons. I have two theories:

1) Everybody KNEW it was bad and accepted it as such, therefore it was a 'fun' kind of bad.

2) Ginger and Mary Ann

Indeed - it was AWFUL.

Everybody was space happy then. We'd eat up anything having to do with space travel. But when their ship came down on wires with a lot of sparklers underneath is, I knew what was coming. Even the Jupiter II from 'Lost In Space" crashing looked a hundred times more realistic than that.
