worst TV shows of all time?

Current programing?
Any and all game shows, talent shows and (un)reality shows.
Historic programing?
Space 1999, Time Tunnel, Land of the Giants.

is cher still alive?
i watched about 10 minutes of a reality show n never have again.
it was just a cheap way to avoid paying actors.

Did everyone forget about "The Flying Nun"? I never could stand Lost in Space. Dr. Smith made my skin crawl. The robot should have killed him. I would probably list a lot of current shows, but I never watch any network TV anymore. And some of the cable vomit...sheesh! If you watch anything called honey boo boo or 600 lb. people, you should seek professional help. I've never watched any show, movie or anything about Zombies...unless maybe an old film noir movie set in the Caribbean. That stuff will eat your brain.

Maury Povich....

Saw a short segment of his show while channel surfing...and THIS is entertainment? Wish someone would slap (rhetorically, of course) his stupid face just once and say "You ARE NOT talented!" The audience is no better than he is, it's like watching a gladiator film and the audience gives thumbs up or down on the "guests". That was five minutes of my life I will never get back..

Sorry, but Lost in Space, the first season, was pretty darn good, until they wimped out Dr. Smith and made it the Dr. Smith, Will Robinson and Robot show...Dr. Smith tried to kill off the family multiple times. And Marta was beautiful...but that voice...brrr.

I think the worst tv show of all time was called Mr.Terrific.
It starred a guy named Stephen Strimpell who played Stanley Beamish as a mild mannered Guy that would take a pill and become a bumbling super hero.

Another peeve of mine is the way these cable channels (History, Food Channel, Discovery, Travel, etc.) just run a loop of the same show for a whole evening, sometimes a whole day. They take maybe 4 episodes of a show, run it back to back, then repeat. What ever happened to syndication? I think some shows like Pawn Stars, Triple D, or Chopped, have been shown more times than I Love Lucy or Sanford & Son. It's like a radio station that has only one album.

I really disliked Mash as a bunch of people complaining about things they could not change. Little did I know that would be society's norm in 30 years.
I could never have imagined 40 years ago that i would look back on Hee-haw with fondness.

I never saw a single episode

Married With Children , Seinfeld , Barney Miller , WKRP In Cincinnati , Taxi were all horrible beyond belief. If the sound track is laughter, just how dumb is the show? The snippets I saw was while changing channels.

A great show!

Dukes of Hazzard

I had an agreement with the kids. They could watch the show, no fighting, I will be your pillow. My daughter rested the back of her head on my thigh, my son used my chest to support his chest. I took an hour nap every time it was on. The kids changed the channel to next show and it was total harmony.

My wife was always mad when she came home from grocery shopping because the kids were always quiet watching TV while I had a GREAT nap. :D
