I'm looking forward to getting the Tiger-striped kitten in about 10 days. I remember when Shasta was one herself. When feeding she would make the cutest sounds like: ffft fftt ffftt myuuunaa nuuaa nuuuaa etc. I especially got a good belly laugh when Shasta had a litter of kittens and watched them at feeding time-after being weaned. They'd all be doing those sounds above-also marking off their feeding territories by using their paws with claws extended, grabbing as much territory as possible. Boy I sure look forward to seeing and hearing that again.

Those who have kittens-please post photos--I'm going through cat withdrawal symptoms just now.

How about a small fat 15 year old kitty cat picture??Had her since she was a baby but any pictures from back then would be on regular film. They qre so sweet when they are very little then they turn into little terrors! Lol Good luck enjoy your new kitten when it arrives!

Thanks gents, that makes my day.

How often do you all snap shots of your kitties? I'm thinking of doing mine about every 4 weeks or so if that's not over-kill? I have shots of Shasta-not as a kitten (unfortunately) but from a few years ago on my phone-and then late last year and shortly before she died this year--on my tablet. They side by side-really shows how much she had changed-from a very healthy cat to what happened in her last months. If I can get all pics together? and get Lisa or someone to post--ill get them here at some point.

Pictured is "Molly", only it turns out its a he, so renamed "Spooky". About 4 1/2 months old now. he is the kitten I found abandoned with his dead siblings in the woods last spring.

Always been a dog guy, and never realized what personalities a cat has. The bed he is pictured on is upside down. He loves it, but will not lay on it unless it is upside down. He likes to explore, and stick his paws anywhere they will fit. He digs up stuff I didn't even know I had. Goes to the Vet next week for the big "snip".

Any of you all feeding yours the Hills Science Diet food? I'm thinking of starting the kitten off with it-just in case it actually works-even if it is more expensive than the stuff on H.E.Bs and WMs shelves.

What do you all feed your cats? I had to feed Shasta her Hills Science Diet food for her Urinary Tract Infection-to try to keep it under control-which it kinda did-but not fully worked. As I now have a bit of extra monies to spend--I want to do things correctly-shots etc.

With kittens, this is a guaranteed formula (and we get a bunch in bad health). Two small cans daily (one in morning and one at night) of Fancy Feast sliced. Then keep a bowl of hard kibble kitten—Science Diet— out all day.

Check--I used to give F.F to Shasta-which made her start eating when she wouldn't eat a thing for about a week-about 2 months or so before her death. Is the other prescription food? I'm also shopping around for another vet and think I found one-never going bck to the two who didn't give Shasta the care I paid for. Ive also since talked with a few others who also had trickery done on them by the same two vets who lied to me as well.
