You got me even more curious.

When I mentioned Great Britain, I should have said UK. But since both makes I have are from GB, I just went that way. Also blundered with Germany. :o. My wartime Walther P.38 was made in what for a number of years was DDR, but when it was made there was only one Germany.

All this because. Please tell me, what is your Scottish made firearm.:p

PS. And I also have a W. Germany Walther. :o

Alex Martin (Glasgow) SxS 12ga shotgun.
Plain boxlock straight grip gun. Nothing fancy. 26"bbls choked Cyl & Full.
Not an uncommon combination to find and actually quite handy.

Also a Lee=Speed Sporter in 303 marked John Dickson, Edinburgh
But that really doesn't count for for a Scottish 'maker' as Dickson was the retailer in this case. But the rifle is an English product (BSA) so it goes under that catagory.

Hey Kurusu -
Have you got any guns made in Portugal ?
Did anybody ever make guns there?
I know the answer, sort of.
But I like to to get my info directly from the primary Equine,
preferably from the front end!

Edit. The truth from the horse's mouth.:D

Nope. I don't. Guns made in Portugal they exist. But are antiques above may pay grade. :o

Of course Browning Hi Powers were assembled in Portugal after 1980. But my only one was made around 1950.

And. Only the ones stamped Browning with the Utah adress are marked assembled in Portugal, the ones stamped FN with the Herstal adress don't say that, even having being assembled in the exact same place.

Actually I forgot to add China and Poland to my list. Well not not really. Because they are not firearms but airguns. From China an air rifle (quite powerfull) and from Poland an air pistol (knock off of a target Walther, the one used in a poster in one of the old James Bond movies).
