Correct grips for my Model 15-3 [not a 19-3] square butt snubnose.

Your title indicates a "square butt" Model 19-3 with the 2 1/2" barrel. I'm not aware that any such thing existed. The snub version of the 19-3 had the round butt. Hence, what follows reflects that fact.

Original stocks look like this:

Your reply made me look harder at those very small numbers. It is a 15-3.
That makes a lot more sense. The 2" 15-3 did always have a square butt frame.

See Chad's Post #5. The Model 15-3 with the 2" barrel came with the PC Magna style stocks (as far as I know it is the only K target gun that shipped standard with those).

thadheth, on the other hand, showed a 15-3 with the 4" barrel. As his picture illustrates, the 4" units shipped with standard Magna stocks (they don't have the rounded bottoms).

Sorry for the model confusion. Those numbers are mighty small. I like your stags. Is Ken still around making grips? Heres a set of his beauties on my Thunder Ranch .45.

Do you know when your 15-3 was shipped? The factory switched from blued, machined steel stock circle inserts to Stainless Steel ones for blued guns in 1973ish. Good thing to be aware of when PC magna shopping if you want as close to the correct era as possible.

Sometimes it's DeJa'Vu,,,,
Quite a while back, I bought a nice clean M-15 2" box from a friend. Hung onto it.
Last year I bought THE M15-3 that belonged to that box!. He kept it stored in a GunSock separate from the box. Pretty minty

Good Karma either way. Reunited again

My 1970 15-3 with original serial numbered grips. The finish is a little beat up but it's a great shooter. I usually have a t-grip but took it off for this picture.
