Get a saucer. Add a 2.5 oz. envelope of Chicken of the Sea Pink Salmon, country Dijon mustard, a dill pickle and Wheat Thins or Triscuits.

Drink what you will. I drank Twining's Ceylon tea with it today.

Simple enough for even lazy me to prepare, and quite good.

It'll tide me over until supper. :)

You really do that?! You EAT that?! All by yourself, in one sitting?

My SIL dumps a can of popcorn shrimp on top of the creakm cheese and then pours red cocktail sauce on top. Scoop up a little of all of it and smear it onto a cracker with a butter knife. YUM!

Interesting!
I have never eaten canned shrimp.
Sometimes I eat frozen Shrimp.
Usually dip them into cocktail sauce,
Crackers and celery sticks.

My favorite snack is low salt, baked tortilla chips covered with grated Mexican cheese blend, and then doused with a good salsa of one's preference baked in the oven until, the cheese melts and not a minute longer. Drink with a Medium amber Mexican Beer (please not with Corolla). and you will be in a state of bliss for a while.

Ok.
Put a good serving of Pinto Beans in a small bowl.
Mash the beans just a little bit.
Throw some shredded cheese on top.
Nuke until cheese melts, about a minute or so.
Serve with corn chips of your choice.
Canned beans are only permitted -
if we are having a national emergency, or you are attending a certified Survival school.
Otherwise, home cooked please!

Take a fair quantity of peanut butter sweeten by adding either honey or Karo syrup; stir till smooth. I prefer the honey blend with graham crackers & the syrup with Ritz crackers. This concoction serves me as anything from quick snack to a light meal.

That was my snack a couple of hours ago.

I haven't ever tried it with Graham or Ritz crackers but it sure is good with biscuits or cornbread. I can't decide whether the honey or Karo is the best. I need to try the crackers. Larry

Take a block of cream cheese and cover with Homade Chili Sauce (Heinz is a reasonable substitute). Serve with Triscuits.

You had me at the "Southern Jezebel", that alone would be enough. I could do without the rest, too messy.

Poor Mans Doughnut
Pinch holes in canned biscuits, fry in oil flipping once.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Serve warm....big hit with the kids.

My mom used to do that when I was a kid, though she punched out the center so we could have donut holes, too. And we used regular sugar. I liked them better than the donuts we got at the store.
