648 - was it ever offered in 4 inch?

I've decided the next hole to fill will either be a 48 no dash up to 48-2 or a 648 no dash. Was the 648 ever offered in 4 inch?

According to the "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 4th Edition", the Model 648 was never offered in any barrel length but 6".
