Smith & Wesson K-19 info

I do not remember the year that I purchased this hand gun but it was new in the box and I believe I paid $139.00 for it..Serial # K985520 Mod 19-3 Barrel is 4 5/8" Adjustable rear sight. Cal is 357 Mag and used to be blue,(Holster worn now) Pic attached I hope..

I would give you $139 for it right now even though it is not in nearly as nice condition as it was when new. I might even go $150.

It is very likely from 1970 or '71, and has that "lived in" look to it .

I bet it shoots better than it looks! I wouldn't take less than $500. for it now.

The barrel is just a nominal 4.0 inches, not 4 5/8th's inches...

I'm glad the gun has served you so long and so well.

I would hate to think how many rounds I have put through it..It has a lot of miles on it and it's still tight and smooth..

Is the front sight pinned or made with the rail?
