I'm partial to Mexican mayo! it hard to be the tang it has from a goodly dose of habenero peppers with some chiles thrown in for good measure.
The Mexican's think so highly of it they have a holiday named after it. You are all familiar with Cinco de Mayo aren't you!
Jim

IIRC it's called Cinco De Mayo because it has Five different peppers in it: Habanero, Chipolte, Green Jalapeno, Red Jalapeno and Hatch.

(Does not go well with Coq au vin.)

What is a Hatch Pepper?
Dismissed!
Today I did actually have Mayo - on a Subway Tuna in Shiprock, NM.
That’s on the Navajo Reservation - Big Res -
So it was probably Native American Mayo.

Hellmann's ingredients label says pasteurized eggs and egg yolks.
Blue Plate uses only egg yolks which I believe produce a better taste.
Out of those 2, I buy whichever is on sale at the time.

Hellmans.... there’s another?
LOL!!! ;) Funny thing is that we try other name brands from time-to-time for one reason or another... but we always end up coming back home to Hellman's. :)

We recently got into flavored mayos (a long story), but they were just a waste of money. :(

We also always have Miracle Whip in the house. I do not consider Miracle Whip to be mayonnaise, but it is good on certain sandwiches and in tuna salad when you are looking for a little change of pace.

Both have sugar. Dukes does not. Being diabetic that's important plus it tastes great. I order from their website.

We don't get Heinz in my area and I've never heard of Cains and Kraft is salad dressing not mayo. JFG is an old brand and you can find it in some stores and not in others.

Cain’s is a New England thing. Long time Co. out of MA. “Cain’s ALL NATURAL mayonnaise”. It’s got a little more sweetness than Hellman’s, but nothing like Miracle Whip. Still totally tastes like, and meets the traditional definition of mayo. Exceptional in lobster salad or with crab. Anyone who enjoys mayo, Hellman’s or otherwise, who has not tried Cain’s, might want to consider giving it a shot sometime.
