I surely hate to hear this. Cheyenne was one of my favorites when I was growing up. Warner Brothers threw these series out there, series like Maverick and Cheyenne, and they had a simple quality to them. Well acted, well photographed...they were fun to watch.

Rest In Peace, Clint Walker.

sorry to see this news too. i was always impressed by clint and he was one of my heroes when i was a little kid.

My wife and I watch Cheyenne almost every night. We were just talking about him and wondered how he was doing. We will miss him. He was one of the true good guys. Prayers for his family.

He was one of my heroes when I was a kid also. Sing along, and a one and a two:
" Cheyenne, Cheyenne, where will you be campin' tonight?
Lonely man, Cheyenne, will your heart stay free and light?
Dream, Cheyenne, of a girl you may never love
Move along, Cheyenne, like the restless cloud up above"

RIP old friend.

I could certainly hum the tune, but I sure did not know all the words. I can also remember the tunes to the other alternating Warner Bros. westerns, Bronco Lane and Sugarfoot.

Always liked him. Sad to hear the news RIP

We lost another fine actor a few days ago. Joseph Campanella. I am sure that I read somewhere that during WWII he was one of the youngest men in the Navy ever to be given command of a ship. His obits mention his WWII service but i haven't found the attribution regarding the specifics.
Oh, and he didn't like meat in his lasagna.

Some days I am older than dirt, sure have been a lot of obituaries lately. I still enjoy his shows on the western channel. RIP.

I liked him as an actor. He was a cousin to one of my best friends with the same last name

He will always be Sampson Posey, the big slow-to-anger country boy in the Dirty Dozen to me.

I bet he was a good dude to have a beer with.

According to Virginia Mayo, who was with him and Brian
Keith in Fort Dobbs, Walker was quiet, always working out
and neither drank nor smoked. She liked him.

Sad to hear about Clint Walker's passing. I always liked him. I remember Cheyenne well from my childhood. It was a good show. But don't forget that Walker made quite a few excellent movies as well. ;)
