The same LB was on my 18 list, did not disappoint! I did have them install a fiber optic front sight.
Not sure what 19 will bring but if a 586 8 3/8 silhouette popped up I would really take a close look at it.

Can you please elaborate on the in 58? It is my understanding that the model 58 only had a 4 inch barrel. Was it replaced with a 6-inch barrel? Or are you maybe thinking of a model 57? I think it would be cool to have a fixed sights 6 inch 41 magnum!

- Harrison 1911 ES fire control kit for my high mileage Colt. Hope I don't need a new ambi too, but whatcha gonna do.
- Maybe a new trap gun? Kind of spendy, so we'll have to see about this one. Going to take some serious plotting.

This is a year I plan to sell more than I buy.
I have duplicates/triplicates/quadruplicates of some S&W semi-autos (Model 39/59 and 2nd gen versions of the same) that I'd like to thin out. Still multiples of 38/44 Heavy Dutys I'd like to narrow from 5 to 2.
I'd like to take some of the money I make and get a decent Triple-Lock.

I'm now starting into my 88th year of Gun collecting, and everything related to it. I shouldn't consider collecting anything else, but there are a few things that I want, and can't find. One thing would be a "spiffy" holster for my favorite S&W Mod. 27-2 3.5" revolver. I wanted it to be made by my all time favorite maker, The George Lawrence Co. I've never found one that was completely satisfactory. On that list would be, a tastefully engraved gun. I've never owned one, and Probably never will. That list should also contain a new supply of nasty words, that I could use to tongue lash my hateful new computer with, Those few things are still on my list, but, I doubt that I'll get any of 'em.

Sadly......reality is beginning to set-in. I'm getting older, and not using the ones that I have. Likely, will start "thinning the herd". Some have little to no, emotional value....and could merely be sold. I have "emotional ties" to many....but have no family members that would appreciate them! To find out they've been traded for a set of aluminum wheels or a junk 4-wheeler would be painful to know! memtb

Yesterday I ordered a set of square butt service grips for my Model 65-1, a Triple K Secret Agent holster for a K-Frame, and a bunch of Bianchi speedstrips. Don't know what else I'll get this year, but I'd like a 16.25 inch H&R .357 Magnum carbine.

I think this is my year to "finish" all the various project guns I have accumulated .
I keep saying that I need new sights on this one, new grips here, trigger job on that - but I never do it. I plan to march through the list and knock those out rather than buy anything else.
Plus I think it's time (possibly passed) for everyone to consider their ammo/component stockpiles as storm clouds seem to be on the horizon...
