After several pocket .380's, I have concluded that for me, it is a S&W 649 .38 spl. in a Mika holster.
Have carried this 340 PD in a Mika Pocket Holster for 13 years. Very lightweight and incredibly comfortable to carry. Equipped with Crimson Trace laser grips.

I bought a Ruger LCP .380 for pocket carry. It even comes with a pocket holster. I used it for about 2 weeks and then realized that pocket carry is not for me. I mean, think about it, with a firearm in your front pocket, you basically have a gun pointed at the person across from you when you're sitting at a table, sitting at a desk, sitting in a doctor's office, etc. This is a violation of the gun safety standards I was taught, and decided it isn't the right thing for me to do.
Your mileage may vary - strong side is my preference.
FWIW, I have to disagree with this theory.
You aren't pointing the gun at anything when it is in your pocket, any more than you are when you're carrying it in a gun rug. Do you keep the muzzle pointed skyward when you're carrying a pistol in a gun rug or a range bag?
IMO, if your hand isn't on the gun you aren't POINTING it at anything. If it is being "pointed" when in a holster in your pocket, then the same is true for horizontal shoulder holsters, gun cases, AIWB holsters, small of back holsters, etc. All of those end up with the muzzle "pointing" in all kinds of directions. The rule is don't POINT the gun at anything you aren't willing to destroy. Unless you have your hand on the gun I don't see it as a violation of any safety rules.
Just a different perspective I guess.
Try not to laugh to hard at my toy, and let me explain. I rarely carry because our crime rate is so low. But if I do, it's this 22 mag with a neck chain holster. Vermont is also a duty to retreat state, so if your going to use a gun for self defense here, you best be backed into a corner and moments from death. So I consider this 22 mag with HP rounds ample as a last resort do or die option. Also surprisingly accurate for it's size. It snaps down out of the holster with a sharp pull. Even with a T Shirt it's not even noticeable.
That's the first I've seen of that type of holster. Who makes it?
(I also have a NAA Sidewinder)

Speaking for myself, I like the .22 mags. I always say mine
is for up close and personal work. Stick it in the bad guys
nose, ear or eye and pull the trigger. For self defense only.
I don't use a holster when pocket carrying, the pocket is the dedicated holster. I have found that I will wear out the *** of the wrangler, Levi, and Arizona jeans and shorts that I wear before the pockets go.
The problem with this is that the pocket is just a pouch. It doesn't prevent the gun from moving around in the pocket.
The benefits of the pocket holster is that it keeps the gun precisely where it needs to be to ensure you can get a hand on it when you need it and can smoothly draw it. It also (if designed properly) covers the trigger to prevent any kind of accidental discharge.
The pocket the gun is in, even with a pocket holster, is always dedicated to carrying the gun. You should never put anything else in the pocket.
Unfortunately I have found that even a small revolver tends to print wearing business casual however.
I found that a Kimber Solo 9x19mm in a pocket holster worked very well, as it did not print as clearly as a J frame. The spare magagzine in the other front trouser pocket worked better than an HKS speedloader or speed strip, too.
Stay safe.
