I'm in complete shock! I can't comprehend this kind of evil. Makes me sick! Charlie Kirk was a national treasure. Terrible day!

2,000 volts @ 12 amps.Utah has the "Death Penalty"......something slow and painful would be appropriate.

One of the students present stated that he saw very few identifiable law-enforcement people there. Said there were always more security there during sporting events than there was today. Most recent news report said he was shot from 200 feet, not yards, and a suspect is in custody. Seems little to no security was provided at the event. Nothing said about Kirk's condition.
just run of the mill school shootings...Meanwhile there was a school shooting in evergreen Colorado today with at least three injured

You have to arrest someone first. So far, nothing - not a 'person of interest' or photo of any kind.Utah has the "Death Penalty"......something slow and painful would be appropriate.

"I can't stand the word empathy, actually," Kirk says in the video. "I think empathy is a made-up, new-age term that does a lot of damage.""His words-not mine. Look it up."
Kirk said that after the Covenant school shooting in Tennessee. Victim Hallie Scruggs was the niece of a dear family friend. I trust his words will provide the Kirk family the same comfort the Covenant victim's families received from it.
That's okay. But if they want a war, they just got it.Don't hold your breath. Riots are the other side's go-to tool, not ours.
Suspect released, so the murderer is still at large?

While understand the sentiment, we're way past that now.I don't think references to "the other side" help.
I don't think one side or the other, left or right, has a monopoly on crazies willing to commit violence against those with whom they disagree politically. I think such comments simply encourage the continuation of the violence.
(And I think a list of political murders — this shooter was a leftie, that shooter was a righty — is a fool's errand. They are all, uniformly, homicidal nutballs.)
As for Charlie Kirk, while I had not heard of him before his murder, no one deserves to be murdered for his or her political beliefs. I hope the killer is caught swiftly, and that, found guilty, he is executed.
Prayers sent for Charlie's family and loved ones.
