We just saw some of us have a great many guns from a wide range of different brands. It begs the question:

Edited: Let me rephrase: Which is your favorite gun and why? You can keep all others as well....

2nd edit: You can include long guns, shot guns, signal, belt fed, gatling....whatever...make it fun.

Pick only one and you must currently own it.

I start:

29-6 from 1996 with a Leupold 2.5-8 power from the same period.
Why:

-action, blue job and overall built quaility is perfect+
-it shoots at 25 yards into the same whole when I get lucky
-its just cool looking
-when I am pressed for time but like to shoot rifle and handgun, this one does both
-It's a bit unique, I think full underlug 29-6s are more common
-POA is not a problem even very far out...it's fun

It would be my LCP as my main focus, shooting-wise, is HD and CC. I have been carrying it for a long time and am confident, comfortable and capable with it. It easily disappears into my pocket and could just as easily serve as my nightstand gun as I'm fairly sure any attack on me will be at short range.

My current one-two carry punch:

Easy choice. Everything I need a handgun for. Joe

Not hard at all.

July '53 Baby Chiefs 3".

Men of the 106th Precinct, Queens, NYC, gave it to their lieutenant for Christmas.

it's an extra-special Chiefs Special.

Since you didn't say handgun, I guess any gun counts.
My favorite is an old Stevens 38-55 single shot. Easy to load, accurate, kind of nice looking, adds weight for traction when I throw it in the bed of my truck. Not a S&W but still my favorite.
