My new Ahrends grips arrived today for my 15-3. I have ran Ahrends on several 1911’s but this is my first set on a revolver. I have pretty big hands, but they fit me really good and are comfy. I have always been really happy with Kim’s craftsmanship and again no disappointments with the quality and fit.

Got out shooting this morning and am really happy with the new grips. Really comfortable for my hands.

I have three different Ahrends grips. I have those on my 24-3, a set of smooth tacticals on my 66-3, and a set of retro targets on my 17.

I really like the finger groove tacticals, they fit my hands very well. I think I prefer them to the smooth tacticals. I do a lot of 1 handed bullseye shooting, and they are very natural and comfortable.

I agree, Kim's workmanship is top notch.

Do you order directly from him? Seems to me I contacted them once, and they said something like send a check, and wait 6 months +. I could be wrong

I bought these through topgunsupply.com, had them here in 3 days, but they can also be found on eBay through a seller named Gripseller. Have bought through both and they both are good to go. The plus side of buying through eBay is the seller provides pics of the exact set of grips they are selling.

My only complaint with the Ahrend's grips is the ridge about 1/8" from the parting line left by the CNC cutter. After buying a couple pairs of grips I decided to fix the issue. Some sandpaper and then some wipe on poly and the results were just what I was hoping for.
