The targa top does not have a button that in one push will remove or reinstall it.:D I have always preferred flip tops.

I was thinking more the clean lines of the previous verts versus the targa. Not liking the rear posts or whatever they’re calling them on the C8 vert.
Of course, in less than two weeks I may change all that if they have a vert in Carlisle. :D

Just a few minuets ago I learned that a C8 Vert was on display down in Albany by a local dealer yesterday. (DePaula) From the picture I saw in the newspaper it sure looked good. (also quite a large crowd there). Paper said there were enough Vettes driven by the "lookers'' parked all over to make a nice car show.

Great platform, competitive super car performance and handling, terrific value....but why must the GM design folks "Chevify" the small details and finishes to make the cars look cheap and overly contrived? That said, I'd opt for the targa and be quite happy.

I’m now expecting at least one in PA in less than two weeks.

Need more info!

That would be a huge scoop. The C8 convertible has not yet been officially revealed as of right now...August 10, 2019; @ 1808 EDT.

Can you post a link to the newspaper photo, please? I did search...nothing found.

Thx!

Be safe.

Jay Leno the lucky dog got to drive the C-8 convertible. Here is video of the C-8 and his driving it.

Think about it,

The AC Cobras. The Mustang GT. The GT40. All designed to whup up the Euros.

I love the sickness of a big block anything but if you want to compete..... If you want to win...…

Just sit back and watch. Corvette just opened up a can of whup as.

I's still rather have a '67 427 Roadster.
