The whole indoor aquatics center's heated. The pool's heated and the hot tubs are kept at between 101 and 102 degrees. There's also a sauna.
After the fire started, the party was over.

Wayne—I saw they were having a major party that night—"Ring in the Nude Year." I suspect the place was packed. Again, I am glad no one was hurt.

It was a big party weekend. They were getting the food for the buffet ready when the fire started.
Not only did they lose the lodge but also a lot the revenue. The people staying in the lodge were also gonna be up all night drinking lotsa booze and partying in the barn.
Then there's the people that stop by for a day visit.

Latest update from a resident at the resort:
They can't do anything until the Fire Marshall does his final report. The insurance company also needs to tell them what and when they can do anything. Don't quote me please cause there's a lot of rumors going around.
The fire department drained the pond and indoor pool during the fire. the pool has since been refilled. There was a generator behind the aquatic center to power the pool and wood burning stove but I think only to keep it warm enough so it doesn't freeze. Stay tuned because Insurance companies usually drag their feet......
I'm sure once they get the go ahead and the power company brings power to the aquatic center they'll get things going. They can't even start demolition yet. A mess but I believe they're going to come back better and stronger than they were.

Speaking of nudists, buddy of mine, years ago, took his girlfriend to a California nudist beach. They're lying on the beach, soaking up the rays, when he notices this one guy keeps walking back and forth in front of them.
My buddy starts getting mad, his girl being ogled by a stranger. This goes on for a while. He begins to get really agitated, finally saying, grimly, "The next time that dude..." His girlfriend chuckles and says, "Honey, that guy is checking you out!"
In shock, he stares at the guy who is now walking back in front of them again.
The guy gives him a big smile...

Guess where our Friday workout's gonna be. It'll be interesting to see if our home workouts have made any difference.
