Is there a database for Serial numbers on the USFA SAA's?

I have a matched set with consecutive serial numbers 2802X's and they were delivered in late July of 2010. From what I've read there were not many shipped after 2010 and very few in the 29XXX range. You might want to post your question over on the Colt Forum as there are some avid USFA collectors over there.
Obligatory Picture of the above mentioned revolvers:

BARgunner, those are beautiful! I only have 4 USFA guns left but all four of them wear the same birds head hammer as your pair. Let me know if they ever need a new home! Shoot, I'd even drive up to the Tri-Cities to pay you for them :)

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to hold on to them for awhile longer! :D

I don't blame you but just remember me if you ever decide to rehome them! My brother retired frm the Richland PD about five years ago and now is lead pastor at Temple Baptist church. He's tried talking us into moving up there but just not enough trees for me.

I don't believe there is an on-line ser# data base for the USFA revolvers.
A few individuals have put together a fair timeline based on existing revolvers/models and their order dates/shipping dates along with orig factory paper work.

USFA used a number of different ser# runs w/ different letter prefixes for their special issue revolvers.
Those 'Prewar' style ser#'s went into the 28,000 range somewhere when USFA stopped making SAA's.
Some report ser#'s in the 29,000 range.
They also 'saved' some 28,000 #'s for Buntline revolvers.
Can be Confusing..
SAA production stopped sometime in 2011 AFAK. But some might have been assembled after that as the factory was still in operation making some sort of .22 rifle.

You are well in to the 'All USA Parts' guns, so that increases the value.
Earlier production used Uberti parts to build the guns. They used a combination of US made and Uberti till finally a switch over to all USA made parts. That switch over Ser# is somewhere in the 22,000 range. Some searching will turn it up if interested. Even then it's not exact as some will come up with a gun made well after the change over point and have Italian part(s) on it.
'Usin' 'em up', I'd guess. Just the old factorys used to do.

The question of what parts were used in building a particular gun seems to be a big point among the people that covet these not only as shooters but as collector pieces as well.
Prices very often reflect that point when being offered for sale
