Self dealing? I am shocked! The Catholic Church, the Boy Scouts of America, child trafficking islands in the Carribean, where will it all end? Nowhere. Even a little bit of power corrupts most men. The more power, the more corruption. "I will be the one who gets away with it, after all, everyone does it..." The weakness of all organizations is that they are populated by humans, I remain a member.

The NRA remains the most effective Pro-Gun organization in the US. But, it needs a leadership change. Even if nothing wrong happened, the current leaders are tainted and the organization will need to rebuild it's reputation.

I still support them, but I hope they react quickly, change appointed leadership, and recharter somewhere else.

Many of you have forgotten or are choosing to ignore the fact that this forum supports the NRA and will not tolerate people speaking against it. Multiple "infractions" have been issued without points to remind some of this but going forward, vacations will be given.

I am a Benefactor Life member, and have been a member of some manner for over 50 years. What I am about to post is not to be construed as NRA bashing.

When the NRA was formed circa 1873, it was formed for the explicit purposes of marksmanship training and firearms safety. The ILA and PVF which are not currently targeted, may not be amended to the original charter.

Because of the historical mission stated by the NRA for ages, this legal action could weaken sanctioned competitive marksmanship activities. What many current members may not be aware of, is that the International Shooting Union (ISU) recognizes the NRA as the sole sanctioning body for competitive marksmanship in the United States.

My concern is, will the NRA's lawyers in this action be fighting to save the four or five cited individuals/contractors, or to represent the interests of the FIVE MILLION plus members!
