Front hand gaurd and/or rail for optics ready

Just picked up an Optics ready version with the red dot and was curious what options I had for the front hand grip or guard and dealing with the gas block. Considering a full float, but want something solid. Thanks in advance

Got the same one. I mounted a Vortex 1x8x24x on it and am waiting for a gun carry from Amazon. I'll be trying it out this weekend.

My post may have been misleading.



I am looking for a front rail that coincides with the existing gas block or if I have to, change out the block. I just didnt know if there was something with decent length extending past the block that was a bolt on.

IMO a red dot is more usable on a flat top receiver.
Not way out front by the gas block.
Plus the gas block gets hot if you like to blast through a magazine or two.
