PERSONALIZED LICENSE PLATES

In Louisiana many plates have letters for the last 3 digits, some are interesting. Today I was behind a car last 3 were DUH. I guess they are random and he wasn't addressing me! I have seen COD also

While working the road, I obviously encountered quite a few personalized plates. I always tried to figure out the plate and when I couldn't I didn't hesitate to ask the driver what the story of the plate was. You would be amazed how that broke the tension of the stop and how well the remainder of the stop went. Some were incredibly creative.

Last plates I had when I lived in Ohio.

Everyone at work called me Cool, the 714 is something a few of you will know.

My ex got them for me as a birthday present.

Saw a gorgeous blonde alone, driving a gray Porsche Carrera. She was stop at a light and her car tag read: WAS HIS.

Another one I happened to park next to was the tag: AEIOUY. The fellow was getting into his car and I asked him if he was an English teacher and was stressing phonics. He said no, his tag was all the vowels other people had left out of their personalized tags.

Perhaps as a car guy I see things a bit differently. Have went to some big car shows and I regularly see people writing down or taking pictures of custom plates.

Car people like to customize and a special plate will/can make your ride stand out! Think about it, the one thing you can do to make your car/truck stand out is a plate. Its also cheap,.:D As their are only 50 states and all have a limit of how many characters you can put on your plate the odds are you will never see another like yours.

NY sure has its bad things, but we are allowed 8 characters so we can get some good combinations of letters and numbers. I have run vanity plates on my special rides for years.
Ones that I used to have years ago my hopped up pick up truck was 454 4X4 That and my Vette had the plate 98 VETTE.

I did have a friend tha had the plate lovebeer but there were complaints about it and DMV took it away from him.
