NFL Football?

The Steelers are 9-0 you say? Used to watch football a lot, but you can tell from my question that I have no idea what is happening in the NFL these days. Just don't have an interest anymore. If I want to watch political theater, I'd turn on the talking heads, which I don't watch either.

I turn on the Talking Heads too.

I haven't watched for several years.
I also made it a point to write letters and emails to tell the NFL, and sponsors why I'm not watching and not patronizing the sponsors. I know my little voice isn't going to change anything, but I can spend my time and money elsewhere.
Besides it made me feel better.

Never been what I would call a sports fan, I play along and keep up to date on what is going on enough to be able to have an opinion when all of the nuts are talking about the game, they know I don't care who wins or looses. I have tried to get involved and usually watch the Superbowl but thats about it.
I also understand that sports are one of the ways that many people can pull themselves out of poverty, there is also the issue with the number of people that make money off the backs of the "well paid" players and its political issues. All of which brings me back to my central opinion about professional sports in general...they are games. You want to give credit to someone that figures out how to save lives, avoid injuries on the job, design a better way to lift people into space without using a political enemies' rockets, I'm all in...games, not so much.

I have never been a sports fan.

If I am at someone else's house that has any of it on, I leave the room and find something else to do.
I refuse to watch those ingrates complain about the system that makes millionaires out of people ( many of whom are barely literate ) who would ordinarily have trouble holding down a job doing anything else.

Always amazed at the number of non-NFL fans, people who claim to have never watched football of any form, people who quit watching years ago, people with the misconception that the active players are a bunch of convicted felons, etc., who feel the need to discuss the NFL . . . #SMH . . .

Good to know you're so easily amazed. 🙄

I've been wondering: is anyone still watching the NFL games on TV at all?

I quit watching when that blond ran off to St. Louis with my team. No... I haven't gotten over it. Quit the NBA in '89 when they decided the Detroit Bad Boys was how the game was gonna be played.

Over the years I learned I didn't really need 'em.

Came pretty close to quitting MLB this year...

I think their is a source where the NFL players learned their debauchery therefore I have stopped supporting and watching college football as well. I've not missed it.

You'll find many NFL has-beens at Walmart signing ****.
