Box it up, throw a limited quantity triangle or ORM-D label on and drop it off at UPS declaring it's small arms ammo.

FedEx around me won't ship it unless you have a business account and it can't be legally shipped using the USPS.

UPS will ship ammo. I've done it a few times. Have to go to an actual service center as opposed to a UPS store. BTW, what are you looking to sell?

Just extra 9mm and a small amount of 380. Thinking about putting on gunbroker. 20201206_101025.jpg

The GB route should yield a nice return on your investment.

Yes that is what I was thinking. I have sold a few boxes to friends that did not listen and then some on armslist. I will not sell but I think I could comfortably sell around 50 boxes. Why not. I didn't gouge my friends payed what I paid and the people on armslist I only changed $20 and $18 a box. I was thinking why not try gunbroker and see what happens

Sell for what the market will bear
If they want it so bad that they will pay 3 times what you paid you are doing them a favor.

Just make sure you can ship it before putting it up for auction!

I recently spoke with the owner of my LGS and he gets ammo from the secondary market delivered almost every day. Unfortunately, there has also been a rather sharp increase in the amount of ammo that has been "misdelivered" or otherwise gone astray while in transit.

What he recommends is that if you need to ship a small or moderate amount of ammo, do not ship in in the factory boxes. Instead, use a food vacuum sealer and seal up a hundred or so rounds into each bag. That way they won't rattle when handled.

The owner of the shop claims he has not had any ammo go missing that were vacuum packed in this manner because as the boxes are being loaded or handled you cannot tell there is ammo inside by the sound or feel.

Hey, whatever works I guess...
