How Many Calibers

I'm at 40. All the common ones for pistol and rifle, plus a few oddball/obsolete calibers. I have at least some ammo in stock for about 35 of those.

I'm pretty well stocked in 12 of them. The other two ...

- .22Magnum - just 1 box (I've never shot much of this, it's a convertible cylinder that lives most of its life in the box for my Ruger Single Six)

- .45LC - only 3 boxes left (I didn't own anything chambered in this until the current round of the madness began. I'll just wait to rectify this and build a pile)



Edit: Correction. 15 calibers (I forgot my .50 cal percussion rifle ... which I'm also well stocked for)

I'm at 18 and trying to stay there. If and when I buy something else I try to stay with a caliber I already have as to not have to buy reloading dies for another caliber. I think I have good variety that will handle most anything I encounter

Finally, someone as bad as me(or good, depending on how you want to look at it) . I was at 40-41 depending on what point in time. Sold the 8mm Roth Steyr and the 9mm Largo pistols but still have a partial box of ammo for both. Wish I'd kept the Roth Steyr though. Everything that I am low on seems to be a 1-2 example, mostly collectible milsurp rifles.

25 here, and in thinking about it I realized one I had forgotten and one I don't have any of. I was recently gifted a cute little .410 single shot but have no .410 ammo! Need to work on that.

ZGrand, 303 British doesn't fit with that list. Is there a story there?

I have a 1942 Enfield No. 1 MKIII* rifle that belonged to my father. He was a WWII vet and bought it in the early '60's. From it's condition and the notches carved in the stock behind the receiver, he believed it to be used in the war. Nothing special other than for sentimental value. Still shoots well, though.
