I got a good deal on some S&W factory N Stocks. But I notice if you put them face to face, they don't line-up perfectly. There's a gap on one side at the bottom were the grips come together.. Any solution to this?
Thanks.

Tightening the "pressure" in the middle will only make the gap at the bottom grow larger. Best to fill in the part where the grip frame goes with hardwood. One piece for each grip. The lay another piece of hardwood on top of each and lay something REAL HEAVY on top of that for a couple of weeks. Iffen that doesn't work you can gently relieve the narrowest section above the gap with sand paper........Simplest solution is to use them as is and not worry about a small gap at the bottom.

If you got the grips from
a humid area, let them
just sit in Arizona for a
while.

I've had a few that were
warped.After they dried
out the warpage went
pretty much away.
