Maybe after some clever machine work, you could get somebody to hold your beer while you try this...What I want is a full auto S&W model 36!

Exactly."gunshop commando nonsense" is the more sophisticated way to say "Bravo Sierra".![]()
I wasn't asking how to do it. I was simply putting him on the spot regarding his nonesense."Tell us all about how one would convert, say, an AR, a 1911, or a 10/22 with a file."
Is it better NOT to discuss that on a huge firearm forum?![]()
Hand a high recoil revolver to a beginner with a full cylinder. Sometimes the first shots will be "auto". Hopefully the shooter survives. How can I make my revolvers full-auto?![]()

From what I have heard and read, a whole lot have left California. I sure hope they left any left-wing leanings in California.Y'all elected every one of those idiots . Guess you will have to live with them , vote them all out or just leave .
I'd guess by playing with the sear and a file, If nothing is there to hold the hammer/striker back after the first shot you've got an "auto". 6 decades ago a friend had an ancient, worn out Springfield .22 with tube magazine. In those days us boys would go the the city dump at night with .22's and flashlights to shoot rats. Every few shots that old Springfield would go "full auto" and empty the tube. Fun..Tell us all about how one would convert, say, an AR, a 1911, or a 10/22 with a file.
Or, just stop with the gunshop commando nonsense.
Getting a weapon to occasionally slam fire, and actually creating a full auto weapon aren't really the same thing, and wasn't what the "just file the sear!" boys were talking about.I'd guess by playing with the sear and a file, If nothing is there to hold the hammer/striker back after the first shot you've got an "auto". 6 decades ago a friend had an ancient, worn out Springfield .22 with tube magazine.
