Glock ban moving forward in CA

"Tell us all about how one would convert, say, an AR, a 1911, or a 10/22 with a file. 🤔"

Is it better NOT to discuss that on a huge firearm forum?
I wasn't asking how to do it. I was simply putting him on the spot regarding his nonesense. 😉

I've see that happen at the range.
The lesson to learn is to only load 1 round when allowing a newbie to shoot a BIG magnum for the first time.

Unfortunately the only people who will suffer are law abiding gun owners. Law Enforcement (if Gov. Newsom listened to them) would tell the Governor that the gang bangers and psycho's will continue to buy all the firepower they want from the "Iron Pipe Line" that is well known to Local and Federal Law Enforcement. States with lax gun laws ship in second hand guns by the thousands via this Iron Pipe Line to States with tough gun laws like California making such laws ineffective. Result: The law abiding citizen gets disarmed and the gang bangers are armed with anything they want or need.

Our range has a "S&W 500 Revolver Hole" in the overhang due to this issue. Looks to have launched the second round at approximately 60 degree angle over the berm. Never heard of it happening with the 460 (or any other revolver).

Or, just stop with the gunshop commando nonsense.
I'd guess by playing with the sear and a file, If nothing is there to hold the hammer/striker back after the first shot you've got an "auto". 6 decades ago a friend had an ancient, worn out Springfield .22 with tube magazine. In those days us boys would go the the city dump at night with .22's and flashlights to shoot rats. Every few shots that old Springfield would go "full auto" and empty the tube. Fun..😏
