If you thought the nineteen year old daughter of some very dear friends had married her nineteen year old boyfriend (all parents are best friends) would you mention it or just let it go?

A nineteen year old daughter of a friend is legally an adult, and the nineteen year old young man in question is an adult also. Both are competent (at least in the eyes of the law) to contract, marry, enlist in the military service, or perform general acts of stupidity in public places. Neither one is under any general compulsion to report or explain their actions to their parents or anyone else.

What would compel me to interject myself into that type of situation?

I grew up in a small town where the yearly Marriage Licenses were listed in the Annual Report
I read it one year and noticed a neighbor girl was listed as having gotten married
No-one was aware of it until then and I mentioned it to a Common neighbor
Seems All Heck Broke Loose soon after

I was Young when that happened
Let it Go
