Just picked up this puppy in near mint condition with 3 15rd magazines, the grip panels, and 2 17rd mag sleeves, all for 425.00 I have to admit, I'm not much into striker fired pistols, most of my smith collection is 3rd generation semi's with a few 1911's thrown in, but for the price I couldn't pass it up.

Initial review I'm impressed, we shall see soon when I break her in with 500 rounds at the range.

Congrats on the 2.0. I know you will like it. More congrats on having enough ammo to casually expend 500 rounds to break it in. Let us know how it performs.

Double congrats. Having been through shortages of gas, ammo, toilet paper, and other commodities, I enjoy a few outings of extravagance.

Congrats !
Great purchase for good money.
Even you are not into striker fired pistols, you won't be disappointed.
Actually M&P is the best start...and end to shoot them.

Thx God this is not a Glock forum. :D

Just a matter of luck I'd say. I recently traded a Kivaari 338LM for a boat load of 5.56 green tips in turn I traded all that for nearly twice as much IMI 9mm ball.

I put 500 rounds through it today and she shot pretty decently, surprisingly. I'm thinking this puppy will need 250rds of self defense ammo before it goes into the rotation, if ever. Had zero issues at the range, now I need to get me a Don Hume IWB and a few more mags.

To the O/P: that's a GREAT FIND in today's crazy market! I'm confident you will love your (almost) new Compact!

For comparison purposes, not so very long ago (2019) I found a new fullsize M&P 40 1.0 with the factory Crimson Trace Green Laser (LG-360G) for $339.99.

That was one I absolutely could not pass up. Should have bought them all!

Cheers!

The guy that I bought this m&p 2.0 9 from also has an M&P 45 full size with 6 factory magazines he's selling for 400. I just pm'd him to arrange pick up. I figure, at worst, if I don't like it I can at least get what I put into it back.

I love both my M&Ps and I am sure you will too. Congrats on a hell of a score and good luck

They say Goodwill Industries is anti-gun, but money is money, I just found two used 17rd 9mm mags for the full sized M&P but work in mine with those inserts that came with the gun, and I paid 0.59/lb for em along with some sort of Don Hume IWB holster, it's looking like a 1911 officers model or a 2" snubby.

Ok. Maybe I'm a bit slow here. Are you saying anti gun Goodwill sells gun parts by the pound?
