I was not sure where to sure where to post this topic, so apologies in advance if this is the wrong place.
I just read that Mr. Baldwin said in an interview that he did not "pull the trigger "and "never would pull the trigger" on the revolver used on the set of Rust. I did a quick search and found that the revolver used was a Pietta SAA in .45 Colt. He was holding the weapon (it did not fall). More info will come out in the next scheduled interview.
My question is, what kind of Lawyer would suggest that Mr. Baldwin take this position? Where is this going? How do you intend to prove that a SAA style revolver simply fired by itself? Is the intent to go after the manufacturer for making a defective revolver? We all know the absurdity of this argument.
I'm interested in opinions.

Sounds like they're trying to tie it to the people's statements that walked out over safety concerns stating the gun had been "miss-firing" on it's own previously and it looks like an easy scapegoat to me now. As we all know about court proceedings, it's never about the truth, but more about the best story that can be convincing to a jury?

He lies every time he opens his mouth.

I'm gonna have to go with Borderboss on this one.

Why were live rounds available on the set anyway? We all know someone was playing around with the guns

Well tomorrow ABC is going to air a hard hitting interview of Baldwin by Hillary Stephanopoulos. I'm sure that will get to the bottom of what happened.
