The "Bowl".....Rams...

I had no dog in this fight, but I'm glad the Bengals didn't prevail due to a blown call on what should not have been a touchdown.

So, justice prevailed...to some extent.

This is almost what I said last night, I hate to see a win on a
non call, wasn't as bad a non call as the Saints game a couple
years back.
The Bengals can hold their head up as they played a good game.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the sack by #99 in the last
seconds to seal the win for LA.

Yep, the cherry on top.

Disclaimer: I worked at GM for over 42 yrs.

I am extremely worried about my future pension payments if the ads last night were the best GM advertising department could come up with. Just horrible!

But I'm an old man, what do I know?

Edit to add: Living in SE Michigan all my life I am also happy for Stafford. He could have played for the Lions the next hundred years and still never have gotten to the superbowl.

No dog either but I did enjoy the game and 98% of the play calls and I have
to say that 9 out of 10 penalties were "Smart moves" that helped the team out of a bad spot or time.

There were several "Almost" great plays that happened and a few that made you scrach your head and wounder why but that's football.

I was really glad that the "Zebra's" let the men play and not try to hog the spot light......
but all four of us did agree that the half time show was not a quality show or very intertaining. I was looking more at the old cars !!

At the end of the game we all were smiling, even if it was not the outcome we wanted and
all of us were over stuffed with all the snacks and gooies that was on the kitchen table.
My two slabs of ribs with a sweet and the other with a spicy sauce were fall off the bone, "Great".

Time to get the little lady the flowers and candy............
Later.

Watched about two minutes of it until they finally showed the score, then moved on to some old sci-fi flick.

The "Barbie Buys Her Dream House" Rocket Mortgage commercial was funny, but only because my daughter is buying her first house and some of the thing in the commercial apply to her.

Until the last five minutes of the 4th Quarter, the game was very entertaining.

Not the result that I wanted., but a good game for once. I am now either too old or too educated to understand the half time show or any of the commercia0s that used to entertain me.

I certainly wasn't happy with the "holding" call in the red zone but I learned long ago that bad calls and no calls are part of the game and you live with them.

There is plenty of salary cap room to draft/buy some offensive linemen.

Looking forward to next season.

Your guys got away with one on the TD pass as I recall. Calls are part of the game. Cincy was playing pretty aggressive there at the end and got caught on a couple. I was pulling for them to finally win one.

The Cincy Bengals just fought a good fight.
At the end of the day it didn't seem right,
to lose on a call that was barely a foul.
Yet refs call the game and no matter how
we wish and we hope that they call them all good,
it don't always happen the way that it should.
So men to the showers, the game you just played,
will sting in your memory for more than a day.
But next year will come when the season begins
will provide you a chance to get here again.

FC Cincinnati is the perennial cellar dweller. I try to keep my suffering to a minimum.

They play better football in the Premier League anyway.
As far as last nights game, not taking anything away from Kupp, what he did was deserving of MVP, but I think Donald was more valuable. The double and triple teams he was getting were allowing others to do their work. And in crunch time he made the plays that were needed. Congrats to LA and looking forward to seeing Cincy next year. Should be some good football, American style!

Thought the game was ok but the commercials mostly sucked.
And the half time show really, really, sucked. Is that the
entertainment the the majority of Americans enjoy? But what
do I know, I am just an old guy.
