Information needed on 686

I recently picked up a S&W Model 686 and am curious as to when it was made/shipped. S/N is ALV88XX. It has a 2.5" barrel and while it isn't perfect it is in very good condition.

Do you happen to have the original box with end label? If not, late 1985 to early 1986 is an approximate guess.
