Paul McCartney, and his band, played at the JMA Wireless Dome (formerly the Carrier Dome) in Syracuse, N.Y. on Saturday 6/4. There were approximately 35,000 in attendance including my wife and I. Paul wlll be 80 years old on June 18th. Let me tell you, he still can put on one hell of a show. He did Beatles songs, Wings songs, a few cover songs (Hendrix's Foxy Lady for example). He told stories between the songs, etc. He played for almost three hours with no breaks. Quite simply, the best concert I've ever been to and I've been to my share over the past 45 or so years. If you like Paul and have the opportunity to see him on this tour, you won't be disappointed.

Color me green.

Long time fanboy here. Not only is he an excellent song writer, vocalist, lyricist and solid pocket player he is also a gifted arranger that knows harmonic intervals. He is also a shrewd business man.

The talent is deep in this one.

Agree fully! I saw him in 2014 and was amazed at his stamina. And yes, best concert I've ever been to. I don't idolize people but I did feel honored to see a true living legend in person.

I have seen Sir Paul several times. Of course he is a master musician and performer. What has alway impressed me in these concerts is the sound systems. I saw him at the metro dome in Minneapolis back in the late 80’s. The dome was notorious for bad acoustics, not only for concepts, but even for sporting events. The concert was excellent in a large part for the high quality sound system brought in by his team. Several layers of PA stacks all with phase timed delays to deal with the domes notorious echo. All back in the day before the digital audio processing (DSP) was common place.
