We only get up there about every 6 weeks in this hot weather, so I quickly got the grass mowed first thing……

Then had some fun plinking with several of my shooters, two Colts and a two Smiths (only shot one of them on this trip)…..

This is afterwards getting them ready to clean…..

And now they are ready for another outing - hopefully late next week if the weatherman cooperates…..

Good on you!

I was at my West Virginia camp last weekend, but I didn't hear any sounds of plinking. Mine's in Greenbrier County. Where's yours?

At mine, I really don't have enough room to do much shooting. Just 2 acres.

20 acres in Grant County (named after General Ulysses S.).

I only mow about a half acre of it around the cabin. The rest of the property is more conducive to plinking than mowing…these pictures taken last Fall…..

I don’t think even the Magnum will carry sound down to Greenbrier! [emoji1]

Lots of stuff going on at the church as annual charge conference rolls around. Have hopes that once all is finished, thing will slow down so that I can spend maybe an afternoon at the range. If so ... will enjoy shooting my handguns ... and ... a 1902 Krag infantry rifle. Acquired it as a sporterized but uncut rifle. Took my time restoring it. A correct gorgeous hand guard finished everything. Now have ammo, dies, etc. So, it will go along for the day. Hopefully that day will come soon. Glad for you that you do not have to wait. Sincerely. bruce.

My little camp is on the Greenbrier River just about a mile upstream of Alderson. Here's a peek from a year ago:
