Off hand I can think of a few words that I consider over used.
When something is really cool, many call it the ultimate. Ultimate
is the best achievable or imaginable.
Basically is often used to say something is true or correct, even
if it's not.
Vintage does not mean real old. It simply means "of age".
What words do you think are over used?

How about “the new”
More a phrase than a word but I’m tired of it.
50 is the new 40
$100 bill is the new $50 etc……….

Unique. Often used to imply that something is in some way desirable, special, unusual, or distinctive but it actually means that something is the only one of its kind.
THIS ^^^ Also variants like "almost unique" etc. Gaaaaahhhh!!!

There have been numerous articles on "office speak", lke this one from 2013 in The Guardian.

I like these threads. Let's also do one on phrases (lots more there than with single words) while many continue their efforts to further erode our language. Sticking to this thread, however...
wifey, comfy, wonky, prolly, thingy, pard, ymmv, transparency, benjamins, doable, closure, mothership, upgrading, unobtanium, gifted, glommed, mantra, north (when making reference to price), south (when making reference to price)...

"AS WELL."

The local TV (i.e. leftist propaganda) station must pay its propaganda babblers a premium for using it. There is almost NEVER a "story" or report or even the weather without multiple uses of "As Well."

Proves my point that there is zero "news" today. Just politically correct, mindless sheep trying to read what is put on the teleprompter by the one or two who control their thoughts and words.

I'm sick of the word JUSTICE every time something happens to some idiot,
or anybody.
Also, the word SHE referring to some inanimate object (unless it's an old Mopar, red, named Christine.)
PINKY, referring to the pinky finger...oh, wait...
Total misuse of THERE, THEIR, & THEY'RE.
AN used for AND.
