This is a rare occasion.

My Wife was totally wrong regarding a discussion we had which I cannot share due to being a forbidden topic.

But nonetheless, I feel I have to tell her she is Wrong.

It has taken me a couple of empowering drinks to give me the fortitude to tell her. Somebody has to tell her.

You cannot just let Wives rule the rest all the time.

If you do not see any posts from me in the future you will know the suit was defective.

FWIW, the juice ain't worth the squeeze to prove that she is wrong, and that you are right.

Happy wife = happy life.
UN-happy wife = stone cold misery for the rest of your life.

Or as my pastor put it, is it better to be RIGHT - or is it better to be RELATIONAL?

When we have to choose between being RIGHT - or maintaining a good relationship, which is better? We all have to make that choice for ourselves...

AFAIAC, maintaining the relationship is FAR more important than being "right".

But that is just my opinion. HOWEVER, I can tell you that this approach has worked for me for nearly 37 years of marriage...

How about just filing it away and then throwing it up in her face when she has something on you?
It works for them.

Yes I am divorced.

And are you better off - or worse off for it?
As good as it may "feel" to tell her how WRONG she is, is it really worth it in the long run?
I don't think so...
Gotta look at the big picture.
But what do I know? I've only been happily married for 37 years.
Am I "whupped"? Maybe.
Am I happy? YOU BETCHA!

The biggest fact is "Is it worth it" I'm good with never getting into a fight with the wife over who's right. She won't remember the facts, but will remember you pi$$ed her off about it.
It's the Kobayashi Maru scenario of marriage. You can't/don't win.

That's an obscure reference even for a Star Trek fan. Well done.

Follow Up:

Her Response: "SO"

My Response:
- I fixed my own supper
- I watched her TV programs
- I fixed my own breakfast
