Haunted House?

Just got new drivers license. Apparently some time ago they went to black and white photo's. Had to take off glasses for photo, and alot of light reflecting off white beard. It does indeed look like a ghost, and a scary one at that.

We live very close to the Gettysburg Battlefield right next to Herrs Ridge Road near where the first shot was fired. Anyway theres been times when I thought my wife was upstairs with me because I could hear her moving stuff or walking. She was downstairs the whole time. I also thought she walked past the bathroom door one night but again she was downstairs. Creepy.

I don't believe in ghosts, but my wife and I both--and separately--saw fleeting glances of our dog for months after she passed. Neither of us had said anything to the other until one day my wife mentioned still seeing Daisy scooting around. "You too?" It eventually stopped.

The only weird experience I had was when I was dating my then girlfriend, she had a black chow-chow. Make a long story short (ish) the dog had a bunch of metal ID tags, vaccination tags etc on her collar that would jingle when she ran. She got loose on me one night and got hit and killed by a truck. She died in my arms. Days after she died I went out the gameroom door where my wife would let her out and I distinctly heard heard her metal tags jingle. There was nothing else around that could have made the noise I heard.

My 17 year old pet cat died last year. One night sitting at the computer I felt him brush up against my leg......Looked but he wasn't there......Several days later walking through the kitchen I saw him lying on ottoman by the back door. Backed up and looked...He wasn't there.........Guess it took him awhile to totally depart.

Back when I worked as a maintenance tech at the RubberMaid Commercial Products factory, there was a story of a fellow that bypassed the safety gate and got crushed to death by a 450 ton plastic molding machine.
Apparently, he haunted the factory.
One day as I was stripping a machine and listening to the classic rock station on my Dewalt worksite radio, I heard it switch to a country music station. When I looked around the machine, thinking that one of the guys was messing with me, there was nobody there.
I switched the radio back to the classic rock station and as I was looking at it, it visibly switched back to the country station.
Apparently, the fellow that haunts the factory likes country music.

Years ago when I traveled to large engine plants got to know some union guys that had worked in " the old plant", they had some very interesting stories about " events" after a guy got killed on the job. Tools disappearing, items moved, and weird sounds. Just second hand info.

We have a park in Elyria called Findley Estate. It was owned by Common Pleas Judge Guy B. Findley, who lived there with his wife. The City allowed Park Rangers, who needed a place to live to stay there. One Ranger, a friend of mine, lived there for several months after getting a divorce.
He told me there was a spirit there, who supposedly was the wife of the Judge, and she would appear as an apparition now and then. She was apparently friendly, did no harm, and showed up at different times.

My sister & brother-in-law owned a home in Wapakoneta, OH. and they too had a friendly ghost living there. They would come home and find articles moved, cords unplugged, etc.
A Niece stayed there while her mom and dad had gone on vacation. The ghost made its presence known to her, and the niece promptly got her things together, and left immediately, vowing to not return there again.

Reading the posts about departed pets I recall for about a year MsNative and I could hear the clicking sounds of BabyGirl's toenails trotting across the terrazzo after she passed. Neither of us mentioned it until one evening in bed we both said at the same time "Did you hear that?". We'd been hearing the sound occasionally but kept it to ourselves.

Snubby, what's in them.........

....ceegars you've been smokin'?:D

Just kidding. Ghosks are no laughing matter. At least they are most likely FRIENDLY spee-rits. But I'm not sure about the in-laws.

Spooky. I've never heard or seen what I thought was a ghost, but my TV sometimes mysteriously comes on by itself in the middle of the night. Happened just last night. Light coming down the hall woke me up at 2:30 AM - the TV was on again. Always just the TV, never the cable box or sound bar, so I know it's not the universal remote. Weird.
