I went to the LGS to pay for the 4506-1 I had put in the back a couple of days ago. I get there and sitting in the used gun section is this beautiful, possibly unfired Model 15-3.(1971 per SCSW) No box, papers,or tools but I couldn't resist at $500. Could you?

About a month ago I replaced a 15-1 that I sold in ‘76. They aren’t too common around here, this one came into the shop I work at as an outright purchase.

Not pristine, grips were trashed and replaced by some Magna grips in my parts stash, has holster wear, a small rust spot on the left side that’s kinda hidden with a Oxpho Blue touch up. One side of the rear sight blade has been flattened along with the front blade, appears to been dropped. But mechanically light, good lockup and bore. My employee pricing sealed the deal.

Even so, if one like yours shows up it’s mine too.

I still work full time as a pediatric nurse. If I ever got a part time job at a gun store I don't think I would ever bring home a paycheck. lol
I just lucked out on these 3. Sometimes it pays to listen to the voices in your head.

Excellent purchase. If only the serial # was further back.
